Portable Identity for the Stablecoin Economy

idOS

What is idOS?
Mainnet

idOS (identity operating system) is a decentralized network designed to give users control over their personal data in the digital economy.

Built as a self-sovereign, chain-agnostic system, idOS enables secure, encrypted data storage and seamless data sharing across web3 applications—especially in the stablecoin and fintech space. It supports onchain identity and KYC reusability, helping users move their data as easily as their money. With an open-source, composable architecture and a focus on compliance and privacy, idOS aims to solve the long-standing challenge of decentralized identity by aligning data ownership, regulation, and user control. It's currently live and can be explored via a demo showcasing KYC reuse in a stablecoin neobank.

IdOS uses NEAR for user authentication via wallets like MyNearWallet or Meteor. It supports NEAR's ed25519 signatures (NEP-413) for signing messages, enabling secure login and interaction with the idOS platform.

Users can authenticate using their NEAR accounts, and the system handles key discovery and secure credential management
