## What is Pyth network?

Pyth Network is a specialized oracle solution for latency-sensitive financial data that is typically kept behind the “walled gardens” of centralized institutions. Pyth Network is focused on finding a new and inexpensive way to bring this unique data on-chain and aggregating it securely. nnOur market data is contributed by over 70 first-party publishers, including some of the biggest exchanges and market making firms in the world. We offer price feeds for a number of different asset classes, including US equities, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Each price feed publishes a robust aggregate of publisher prices that updates multiple times per second.
